Bethlehem Nativity

The church of Nativity was built by Queen Helena the mother of the emperor Constantine upove the birth place of Jesus.

The mosaic floor of Queen's Helena church was covered by lime stone pavement by the Emperor Justinian because the damage caused by the revolt of the Samaritans in 521 Ad.

The silver star marks the place where Christ was born. written on it in Latin "Here of the Virgin Mary Christ was born".
